| every year summertime gets a little less exciting and more of a gap between school used mainly to work. I so want to go down the shore. Maybe next weekend i'll be able to. I miss the beach, especially the smell of the ocean. | | |
| 16 days and i'll be sitting on a plane, holding his hand and waving goodbye. It's always wonderful but never easy, especially coming back. I'm never good at letting go of what I grew up knowing I belong in. Coming back is slipping back into a lie, and not having enough strength or faith to fight it off. But i can't call it my home at this point, I don't have one. I'm an outsider on both islands, and knowing this is hard enough. Living in either place won't do, so for now travelling back and forth between the two, whether in my mind or in my life, has to be good enough. | | |

| haven't enterered in forrrreeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr! Holiday break sucked, all i did was work i was very unstable the whole time. Back at school now, and i'm so happy to be here. I've never had such school pride before. Tyler Rocks. My teachers are all pretty cool. I did a painting of myself having an orgasm last night, then got it critiqued today. Interesting feedback, more so on the technical aspects of painting than the subject itself. I think i turned bright red though when we talked about my peiece.
To night i went to a yoga class offered at TYler. It was exceptionally relaxing. Really changed my mindset. we did some Konnalingi yoga or something like that, which focuses on one part of hte body, so tonite we stretched our spine and focused on breathing. IT was really nice, something i'll definitely keep going to.
Going to see HENREY ROLLINS tomorrow!!! YAY that should be interesting. Need to try and get homework done though so i can not worry about it tomorrow. | | |
| This week is insane, I'm in such a muddle of Finals frenzy. Art School kids don't have to deal so much with examination type finals, instead we get ginormous drawing assignments, which are the first and only serious project we've done this semester, Thanks Mani'mcrazy. The Snow is a nice change of scenery, I don't have my snow regallia though so i was unable to play in it. My best friend colleen was supposed to come on the train from Lancaster today. I was going to meet her at thirtyeth street station and take her to first friday, but the snow canceled all that so i spent a night in with the girls and steve playing Cranium, and then just playing the Star performer aspect of the game. I have a lot of work to get through this weekend so the snowed-in thing isn't too bad. I got a little bit of cabin fever at first but it's fading. I'm off to see if Natalie will let me play James Bond with her. | | |
